The challenge
A data-analytics agency wanted to run a large-scale survey to gauge opinion ahead of upcoming elections. Their paper-based methods caused a host of problems — false submissions, incorrect data input, poor accessibility, and difficulty in analysis and reporting. They needed a competent, modern replacement to make their processes better, easier and more efficient.
What we delivered
LilySys built a thorough understanding of the domain and its specific challenges — including frequent changes in the workforce and their varied technical capabilities — and curated a smart, easy-to-use solution to modernise field surveys. Key features included capturing the survey agent's GPS location, input selection instead of manual entry, and validation checks on fields such as mobile numbers.
The outcome
The client's existing staff used the application successfully after a single training session. Surveys uploaded with accurate location information, ruling out false submissions, and there was a significant decline in human errors. The whole process became paperless and accessible anytime, anywhere based on user roles and privileges. Comprehensive reports were available at a single click, with search, filtering and quick access to historic data.
