HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL) is a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the administrative control of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
The challenge
HLL's Vending Business Division (VBD) promotes healthy menstrual hygiene by providing better-quality sanitary napkins, with easy access and safe, environment-friendly disposal of used pads. With machines installed across India, VBD wanted an easy-to-use way to track machines, orders, complaints and feedback — plus reporting software to automate service-force activities and order management, strengthen the MIS, and give customers a complete solution for better management and growth.
What we delivered
We developed a mobile-application-based solution for the sales and service of VBD products. We designed the overall application architecture and undertook end-to-end development and delivery — concept, design, testing, installation and training.
A custom dashboard presented a consolidated view of key parameters through numbers, graphs and tables, letting VBD track all orders, installations, complaints, feedback, machine status and stock regardless of location.
The outcome
The solution proved highly effective thanks to the inherent cut in reporting time and the better quality of reports — giving VBD reliable, real-time oversight of its nationwide operation.
