About the client
The Himachal Pradesh Pollution Control Board (HPPCB) is the governing body for all activities related to pollution control in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The challenge
As the main body for pollution control across Himachal Pradesh, HPPCB operates air-quality measurement centres at multiple locations and needed all records stored digitally so reports could be generated on demand. It also needed a public grievance-redressal system where any citizen could submit a complaint — with locations and complaint types mapped to the right officers, plus automatic escalations.
What we delivered
We offered a digital solution for managing air-quality data, labs and the public grievance-redressal system. We created the overall application architecture and managed the concept, design, testing and training phases of an end-to-end delivery — building a web application alongside mobile applications for both citizens and HPPCB officers.
The outcome
Regardless of location, HPPCB can now track all complaints, AQI data and feedback in one connected system — modernising how the board monitors air quality and serves the public.
